What do you stand for?

What do you stand for?

If you stand for nothing, Burr, what’ll you fall for?

I’m amazed at the number of Hamilton lyrics I am able to work into my writing :)

But this one is for a very specific reason. And very timely.

Especially with everything happening in the political world these days.

If you don’t know what you stand for...
If you aren’t clear on your values...
If you aren’t aligned with your goals...
If you can’t claim your desires...

Then how do you know where you are going and, most importantly, how will you know when you get there?

AND

Will you even recognize yourself when you “arrive”?

My stand in this world...

Everyone has a story to tell and everyone deserves to be heard. Sharing your soul story is your divine right and the only way to truly connect with yourself and others. Your story is your North Star.

Everything I do is to move this forward. It’s what my business is based upon. It’s what my hobbies are based upon. It’s what also brings me the most joy in the world.

When I stray away from that stand, things get muddy. I start panicking. I do things that don’t align with my core values. Things gets more difficult. I have to work harder, stress more. My anxiety increases and my depression deepens.

So, why would I ever stray from my stand?

Because sometimes it is easier (aka safer) to be seen as a fake than to risk being judged for who I am.

Because sometimes I forget to listen to my inner voice and instead listen to “gurus” who supposedly know more about me and my business than I do.

Because sometimes the weight of my message feels too big, too great, too impossible that I give and believe God got it wrong (like, seriously, I argue with God about this all the time).

Because sometimes I forget that I am infinite. That I have everything I need - right now - to take me to the next level. But only when I let go of the limits of being human and instead just trust ... my soul’s truth, my purpose, my voice, my intuition, my guides.

When I get lost, when I feel confused, when I am overwhelmed, it is because I have strayed from my stand.

That’s when I fall.

And I am learning to stand back up. Quickly.

Because the only thing worse than falling, is staying down.

And if that’s where you feel you are, let me help you up.

I can help you up.

But only if you reach out.

We are all in this together. On this planet at this time, together.

You are not alone.

Your voice matters.
Your story matters.
You matter.

You have permission.
